Collaboration is color blind, and for two cross-town basketball games neither green nor red prevailed.
William Fremd and Palatine High Schools teamed up to raise awareness of Cystic Fibrosis through an event called Hoops for Hope on Jan. 27. Students and staff from both schools purchased orange t-shirts to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
“I think this event really serves as a testament to the strength of our community,” said Melissa Poczatek, Student Council president at Palatine High School.
