All District 211 schools will have extended media center hours to provide students with a quiet space to study for finals. HEHS Hawks Announce New Head Football Coach

Timothy Heyse has been named varsity head football coach at Hoffman Estates High School, effective with the 2017 season.  Heyse, who is currently an assistant coach, will replace Mike Donatucci at the helm of the Hawks’ football program.  Donatucci is retiring after four seasons as the Hawks head coach, and leading the program to its first post-season appearance in 22 years. HEHS Students Participate in Mock Presidential Debates

Hoffman Estates High School Social Studies Department conducted eight presidential debates on Nov. 2 and 3 to highlight and educate students on the issues facing the nation. Over 100 students participated in the debates with more than 1,000 in the audience. Covering topics that ranged from foreign policy to immigration to the economy students were both educated on the issues and engaged in the democratic process. Important District 211 Calendar Dates for 2016-2017 Academic Year

August 15th is the First Day of School
  In order to maximize the value of each instructional day, District 211 adopted a collegiate-style calendar, which will take effect after a shortened summer with the 2016-2017 school year. With the new calendar, first semester, including final exams, will end in December before students leave for winter break, and the school year will conclude, including final exams, prior to Memorial Day. Students in District 211’s Certified Nursing Assistant Program have recently earned credentials that can help start their careers. Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates High Schools Participate in Red Nose Day

Yesterday, District 211 schools participated in Red Nose Day to raise funds for children in poverty. Students at both Schaumburg and Hoffman Estates High Schools created campaigns and fundraised. Student Council at SHS was in charge for Red Nose Day.
