D211 Post: Students Recognized for Highest Possible ACT Scores

           The Township High School District 211 Board of Education recognized five students for scoring a 36, the highest composite score, on the American College Test (ACT).  The students included two from Schaumburg High School and three from Fremd High School.             The first student recognized Rose Dinh, a senior at Fremd High School. When Schaumburg High School students Tarek Samara, Zach Pierce, and Davien Luong-Luu walked into the band room Nov. 3, they were greeted with the sound of the schools fight song.  All three students are members of combined special olympics soccer team which is scheduled to compete at the state tournament.   Tim Little, principal at Schaumburg High School presented each student with a pin recognizing them as a state competitor in their sport.
