D211 Post: High School District 211 announces National Merit Semifinalists for 2019

Township High School District 211 announces that 31 students have been named semifinalists in the 2019 National Merit Scholarship Competition.  Semifinalists are selected based on scores on the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (P.S.A.T./N.M.S.Q.T.).

William Fremd High School students Gianna E. Arnieri, Ayushi D. Balan, Arnav Batta, Hannah Chen, Kristina Y. Chen, Matthew D. Corrigan, Bill Gao, Lydia S. Hahm, Duncan E. Harro, Christina S. Hu, Maegan Jong, Kevin Li, Hannah Lin, Martin Michalski, Anthony H. Mu, Shreya Mukherjee, Boogyu J. Park, Mayur Popuri, Shreyah Prasad, Vikas Reddy, Sarah A. Stapleton, and Flora J. Zheng have been named semifinalists.

Nikita Basu, Joshua L. Du, Sarah N. Erne, Rajat Mittal, Saurav Sumughan, and Michelle Zhang from James B. Conant High School have been named semifinalists.

The semifinalists from Palatine High School are Aaron B. Kleinschmidt and John W. Wang.

Hoffman Estates High School’s semifinalist is Nilay Sriram.
