District 211 Adopts New Mission Statement, Core Values
The District 211 Board of Education adopted a new mission statement as well as new value statements at its August 18, 2016 meeting.
On July 18 and 19, 2016, the Board of Education met with a facilitator and members of the administration for approximately 12 hours to develop a multi-year strategic plan using information gathered through the community engagement initiative.
The new statement and set of value statements will define the common mission of District 211 and serve to guide the priorities from the District’s strategic plan in the coming years. The mission statement is as follows:
Township High School District 211 serves the educational needs of the community inspiring all students to successfully contribute to the world
