Reminder: All Schools Hosting Extended Media Center Hours For Finals Prep

Students utilize extended media center hours for a Study Jam Session at Schaumburg High School.

Many District 211 students took advantage of last night’s extended media center hours to study for finals. As a reminder, all District 211 schools will have extended media center hours to provide students with a quiet space to study for finals. Read below to find out what each school is doing for its extended hours this week.

PHS: Students at Palatine High School will be able to study in the library during normal hours from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Students can then study in the library and café until 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 20. Staff will be available to direct students to the study areas.

Students utilize extended hours to study at Fremd High School.

FHS: The media center at Fremd High School will be open until 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 20. Pizza, cookies, and hot chocolate will be served while students are studying.

CHS: Conant High School is helping students to study like they are in college. CHS will host an “Exam Jam” on Tuesday, Dec. 20, until 9 p.m. in the media center.

SHS: Schaumburg High School is offering a quiet study space in the media center on Tuesday, Dec. 20, and Wednesday, Dec. 21, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tutors will be available and snacks will be provided.

HEHS: On Tuesday, Dec. 20, Hoffman Estates High School students can study in the media center until 9 p.m. Tutors will be available to students.
