D211 of Tomorrow LogoResidents of Township High School District 211 are invited to share ideas about the future of District 211 schools at the second installment of “The 211 of Tomorrow” meetings.

The upcoming community engagement meetings will address “Academic Programming” and will take place on March 14 and 15 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Both meetings will be the same in content, but will be held in two locations for convenience. Monday, March 14, will take place at Palatine High School, 1111 N. Rohlwing Road. Tuesday’s meeting, March 15, will be held at Conant High School, 700 E. Cougar Trail.

Academic programming topics will include information about Career Pathways, Dual-Credit Courses, the Power of 15, the One-to-One Initiative, and other related topics. Attendees will also learn about the programs and curriculum in place to help students be college and career ready after graduation.

A facilitating team of community and staff members is gathering information from the monthly meetings. The information will be presented to the Board of Education to serve as a guide in formulating the District’s five-year strategic plan.
