Fremd High School Alumnus Honored for Board of Education Military Recognition

District 211 recently started a new tradition to honor alumni for the service they have given to their country. Marine Lance Corporal Grant Dunham, a 2013 graduate of Fremd High School, was honored and thanked for his service by the Board of Education at its Dec. 11 meeting. Four D211 Students Earn Highest Score on ACT

Each year, junior and senior students all over the country take the ACT (American College Testing) exam. For many, this test serves as the gateway to making it into their first-choice university or college. The goal is to receive the best composite score possible in the categories of science, mathematics, reading, English, and an optional writing test. Each exam is scored on a scale of 1-36, and a student’s score is the average of the four test scores. Among District 211 students, four students received the highest possible score.
