D211 Post: PHS Booster Announces Club 2019-2020 Scholarships

The PHS Pirate Booster Club is accepting applications for its 46th annual Scholarship Program starting January 13, 2020. These scholarships will be awarded to deserving members of the Palatine High School graduating class of 2020 wishing to further their education. Up to 14 graduating seniors may receive a $1,000 scholarship. Twelve of these scholarships are named in honor of Fred Zajonc. Mr. Zajonc was a community leader, a village trustee, and long-time member and past president of the Booster Club who worked tirelessly to generate parent and community support of Palatine High School.             Over the next three months, craft fairs will be held at Schaumburg, James B. Conant, and Palatine High Schools.               The first of the three will be at Schaumburg High School on September 22nd from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.  Admission is $1 for adults while children under 12 are admitted free of charge.  The fair is hosted by the Schaumburg High School VIP club and hosts more than 100 vendors  and crafters selling anything from crochet and needlework, holiday decor, baby clothing, fashion accessories and more.  The fair will ...

For the 20th year, The Fremd Viking Booster Club is hosting its Annual Dinner Dance to benefit FHS students and programs. This year’s Emerald Gala will be held on Nov. 22 at the Cotillion Banquets, 360 S. Creekside Dr., in Palatine. The gala starts at 6 p.m. and is open to the public. More than 250 exhibitors are scheduled to participate in the Conant High School Booster Club’s 35th Annual Craft Fair. The fair takes place on Saturday, Oct.18, at 700 East Cougar Trail from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. There is a $1 admission charge, and all proceeds will support Booster Club scholarships for students and special grants. In addition, a raffle will be held to benefit the Booster Club's post-prom activity, which provides a safe, alcohol and drug free event for CHS students. There will also be a lot of door prizes. Conant High School’s Dinner Dance to Benefit Student Programs, Scholarships

Conant High School’s Booster Club is hosting its Third Annual Cougar Dinner Dance to raise funds that benefit the school, as well as recognize individuals who support programs and students in outstanding ways.   The event will take place on March 1 at The Seville Banquet Hall in Streamwood, 700 S.
