Palatine, Fremd, Schaumburg High Schools to Host Community Halloween Events

Palatine, Fremd, and Schaumburg High Schools will host Halloween events that are open to the community. The Fremd Student Council is inviting students ages 12 and under and parents to attend the annual Halloween Festival held at Fremd High School on Oct. 26 from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. The school has been transformed for a fun night of trick-or-treating with games, toys, and candy. FHS is a proud teal pumpkin supporter, so there are plenty of prizes for all children. All children ages 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Community Members Invited to Upcoming Job, Resource Fair

The School and Community Connections Event is a resource and job fair open to all District 211 community members. The event will take place on April 6 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the Higgins Education Center, 1030 W. Higgins Rd. “The resource and job fair is our commitment to coordinate community resources and engage skilled staff, service providers, and volunteers," said Jerry Treviño, District 211 director of summer school and community outreach.
