D211 Board of Education Approves iPad as One-to-One Device

In 2012, the District initiated its one-to-one electronic device program built on the founding principles of redesigning student learning opportunities and envisioning instructional methods to develop the skills students will need as they prepare for life after high school. District 211 Summer Food Service Opportunities

This summer the District 211 food service department will be serving both breakfast and lunch during summer school. As in previous years, the department will offer a complimentary breakfast to all district students enrolled in summer school before the start of the school day. Last summer, District 211 piloted a summer meal program at Palatine and Hoffman Estates High Schools, which was operated under the USDA Seamless Summer feeding program. Teachers Earn National Board Certification

Nineteen District 211 teachers have earned national certification through the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. This is the highest professional credential in the field of teaching. With the addition of these 19 teachers, High School District 211 now has had 121 teachers earn national certification, fourth most among school districts in Illinois.
