D211 Innovation Grant Spotlight: HEHS’ iCompete Program

In an effort to enrich and provide learning opportunities for students, the Township High School District 211 Foundation raises funds and sponsors grants for District staff. In an effort to fulfill its mission, the Township High School District 211 Foundation has launched an online auction that will benefit and enrich learning opportunities for students, staff, and the District 211 community. The Foundation Auction is available on eBay from Oct. 10 through Oct. 20, and direct links to the items are listed on the Foundation website. In an effort to enrich and provide learning opportunities for D211 students, the Township High School District 211 Foundation is running its annual campaign to raise money to fund Innovation Grants for the 2012-2013 academic year. The annual campaign is the main source of funding for Foundation Innovation Grants, which provide unique learning experiences and programs to D211 students. These grants help develop innovative ideas, programs, and practices that are not funded within the regular school budget. Innovation Grants 2011-2012

The mission of the High School District 211 Foundation is to obtain and provide resources to enhance and enrich learning opportunities for the students, staff, and school community of Township High School District 211. The Foundation recently awarded nearly $25,000 in Innovation Grants to District 211 teachers and staff for the development of ideas, programs, and practices benefiting students in District 211 that are not funded from the district budget.
