Community business owners are invited to attend a Summer Internship Informational Meeting to learn about starting an internship program for students. The summer internship informational meeting will take place on March 15 from 7 to 8 p.m. at the G.A. McElroy Administration Center, 1750 S. Roselle Rd., in Palatine. Students at Fremd and Palatine High Schools learned a bit about politics and future career paths from the U.S. Department of State's Diplomat in Residence for the Midwest:  Ambassador Ian Kelly.
