D211 Post: Four Students Listed in Latest Round of National Merit Scholarships

Township High School District 211 has 18 students that were named finalists in the 2015 National Merit Scholarship Competition. Judges will determine winners based on which finalists have the strongest combination of academic skills and achievements, extracurricular accomplishments, and potential for success in rigorous college studies. Township High School District 211 has 18 students that have been named semifinalists in the 2015 National Merit Scholarship Competition. Semifinalists are selected based on scores on the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (P.S.A.T./N.M.S.Q.T.).  William Fremd High School students Justine M. Two Fremd High School Seniors Receive National Merit Scholarships

The National Merit Scholarship Corporation has announced the group of students that have received the prestigious National Merit $2,500 Scholarship for their outstanding academic and extracurricular accomplishments. Two District 211 students are recipients. Fremd High School seniors Soumik Biswas and Soumya Vhasure received National Merit Scholarships.
