Registration is Open for 2015 GEMS (Girls in Engineering, Math, and Science) Conference

Registration is now open for the fifth-annual GEMS (Girls in Engineering, Math, and Science) Conference. The conference will be held at Conant High School on Feb. 7, 2015, for 5th and 6th grade girls and their parents in School Districts 15 and 54, and private schools within the District 211 attendance area.  The event will run from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Girls will learn about careers in engineering, math, and science by actively participating in hands-on sessions. Reminder: Don’t Forget to Register for School

As summer quickly comes to an end, it’s easy to forget about registration for school. Online registration will come to a close this weekend. However, walk-in registration is available and school administrators are encouraging families to sign up as soon as possible. Student I.D. cards will be issued at the start of school in the fall.
