D211 Post: Fall Brings Booster Club Craft Fairs to D211 Schools
Over the next three months, craft fairs will be held at Schaumburg, James B. Conant, and Palatine High Schools.
The first of the three will be at Schaumburg High School on September 22nd from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Admission is $1 for adults while children under 12 are admitted free of charge. The fair is hosted by the Schaumburg High School VIP club and hosts more than 100 vendors and crafters selling anything from crochet and needlework, holiday decor, baby clothing, fashion accessories and more. The fair will feature a bake sale to support the SHS band. Breakfast and lunch concessions will be available, and the Schaumburg Spirit Shop will be open. James B. Conant High School will hold their 39th annual craft fair on October 20th from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Conant’s annual fair will host more than 250 crafters offering a variety of clothing, accessories, and decor. Admission is $1 with all proceeds supporting the Booster Club Scholarships for students and special grants. The Booster Club will also hold a raffle to raise funds for the club’s post-prom activities which offers a safe and alcohol/drug free event for CHS students. For more information email .
The third craft fair of the fall will be at Palatine High School on November 3rd from 9:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Admission to the craft fair is free. Palatine’s fair will showcase more than 125 vendors selling handmade crafts ranging from jewelry to holiday decor as well as wood crafts and crocheted and knitted items. Palatine will also be holding various raffles throughout the day. The Pirate Boosters will also have information available on the 35th annual Dinner and Auction which is scheduled for March 1, 2019.
