Follow District 211 on Instagram to Visually Keep Connected with What’s New
Each day, the world becomes more connected as technology evolves. One major change is the way individuals communicate through social networking websites. At District 211, social networking has allowed students, specifically in our One-to-One program, to have an enhanced, collaborative learning experience both in and outside of the classroom.
As part of a way to further connect students and the District 211 community, we have introduced another social networking platform to share what is happening in our schools. District 211 now has a profile on the photo-sharing app Instagram. The social networking app allows individuals to view the District’s photos, as well as comment, share, and collaborate with other Instagram users.
If you’re unfamiliar with the app, it can be downloaded on mobile devices through an Apple App Store or Google Play. Once a free account is created, search for the user “District211,” and follow the profile’s posts. The account will be regularly updated with images that showcase exciting programs and events in the District.
Visit the Instagram website for more information on how to create an account to find District 211’s profile.
